When I was young, I always had an interest in computers, games, and digital technology. CD players to iPods, Game Boys to Tamagotchis, Windows 98 to OS X, evolutions and changes in technological superiority and simplicity like these were driving factors which served to grow my love of tech over time. As I got older, I learned how to forge that interest into a passion during my time at Rutgers University and, eventually, into a career at Fox. Beginning as a Quality Assurance analyst, becoming the lead of that department, transitioning into an active development role, and growing my experience further than I ever imagined possible as a Backend Engineer. ### A career built under pressure. I spent years learning the ins and outs of web development and the SDLC; writing, working with, and deploying complex systems at scale in various languages and frameworks, some of which I'd never seen or used before. Then AI showed up and turned everything on its head. Writing became plan mode and goals, working with became prompting, and deploying became an automated task. Evolutions and changes struck again! In the midst of this chaos, however, it seems I've found that same passion which I felt I lost somewhere along the way—a new, unbridled (yet token-capped) feeling of being able to create anything. ### And I'm only getting started. ## Election-night work - Midterms 2018: Component creation, site maintenance, and performance optimizations for scalable election coverage in JS and a PHP backend. - General 2020: Built the internal decision-desk Voter Analysis Tool frontend for Senate, House, gubernatorial, and presidential election race calls using AWS s3 and Lambdas. - Midterms 2022: Created race tables, exit polls, and updated voter analysis tools in Vue2. - General 2024: Rebuilt Fox's elections infrastructure in Astro and Vue3 including component creation and migration, real-time data hydration, and the Primary live race-call banner. ## Experience — Fox News Media ### Back-End Engineer (2021–2026) Delivered full-stack solutions across Fox News Media's digital properties.
